NOW HIRING EXPERIENCED APPLIANCE REPAIR TECHNICIANS

 

 

Job Summary

Repair major household appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, cooktops, ovens, microwaves, wine coolers, ice machines, and built-in coffee makers.

General Accountability

  • Service and repair household appliances.

  • Maintains stocks of parts used in on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances.

  • Disassemble appliances to diagnose problems and make repairs.

  • Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conducts tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds.

  • Observes and examines appliances during operation to detect specific malfunctions such as loose parts or leaking fluid.

  • Refers to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides in order to diagnose and repair problems.

  • Talk to customers and fully explain the diagnosis for repairs and make appropriate recommendations.

  • Provides repair cost estimates, and recommends whether appliance repair or replacement is a better choice.

  • Replace worn and defective parts.

  • Instructs customers regarding operation and care of appliances, and provides information such as emergency service numbers.

  • Reassemble units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning up.

  • Records maintenance and repair work performed on appliances.

  • Collect payment for repair work.

Job Qualifications

  • EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR AN APPLIANCE REPAIR OR MANUFACTURER IS A MUST - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THIS FIELD

  • Own tools and transportation

  • Must have excellent time management skills

  • Must be flexible with schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Commission - Potential for $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year 

Experience:

  • Appliance Repair: 1 year (Required)
